DISC Personality Profiles

Conversations that decode behaviour

DISC is based on a psychometric questionnaire that provides us with a universal language of behaviour. By exploring individuals' preferred communication styles and our responses to our working environment, it helps us recognise helpful and unhelpful behavioural patterns.

Knowledge of the DISC System empowers you to understand yourself, family members, colleagues and friends, in a profound way. Understanding behavioural styles helps you become a better communicator, minimise or prevent conflicts, appreciate the differences in others and positively influence those around you.

DISC isn't about putting people in boxes

At Savvy Conversations, we use DISC to create understanding, not labels. DISC explores how individuals prefer to communicate across four key dimensions:
  • D - Dominance: Focus on results and control
  • I - Influence: Interact with and influence others
  • S - Steadiness: Respond to change and seek harmony
  • C - Conscientiousness: Respond to rules and quality standards
The beauty lies in the blends. There are over 40 potential DISC combinations, which means even people with similar traits express them differently. This recognises that whilst we have preferred styles, we can all adapt when needed.

Our DISC approach

Personal feedback is essential. Reading a report alone isn't enough—the real value comes through personalised interpretation with an accredited practitioner.

Your DISC experience with Savvy Conversations includes:
  • Individual assessment - Online profile completed at your convenience
  • Feedback session - One-to-one discussion exploring your unique blend
  • Practical application - How to use insights to improve communication
  • Adaptation strategies - Working more effectively with different styles

Why DISC transforms workplace relationships

When you understand someone's communication preferences, what once seemed irritating becomes valuable. That directness isn't rudeness—it's efficiency. That need for detail ensures quality. That collaborative approach builds stronger decisions.

DISC provides neutral language to discuss individual preferences, helping teams to embrace their differences and turn them into a source of strength rather than a source of tension.
